Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Nice atmosphere. Its so cool to see the flags of all the different countries on display. Food is good, i enjoyed the chicken curry. This restaurant is downtown so parking is pretty limited. Might have to park 2 or 3 blocks away if its a busy day. Reasonable prices and staff is quick to greet you with a smile."
"I was walking to another eatery and ran into it. I decided to try it. I looked for Brown Stew Chicken, but it was not on the menu that day. I ordered Curry Chicken, which was very good. The rice and peas were perfectly cooked. The only thing missing for me was the shredded cabbage and carrot salad. I hope they put Brown Stew Chicken on the menu. I would have ordered that instead. I'm not always in the mood for Curry, Oxtail, Fish, Jerk. I'm a Jamaican Yardie, and I can say this is authentic Jamaican Food...see you soon; I'm bringing friends. Please have Stew Chicken, shredded cabbage and carrots salad... Welcome to the Neighborhood."
"Absolutely stop and try this place. The ladies inside are so welcoming. The food and the service is fantastic. Great music as well. Will be back! Very large portions as well."
"Friendly staff, food was outstanding. Went for lunch, so it was quiet, but would be a fun place in the evening as well."
"First visit - really liked the devote and atmosphere, I tried the jerk chicken and thought it was very tasty (I don’t claim to be an expert in island food BTW!) This will be a regular lunch spot for sure, and a nice addition to The Vista!"
"Their Jerk Chicken is soooooo good!!!!! The real deal. Jamaican chef grill in the back!! Fast and friendly service!! Highly recommend!"
"Our bartender/server was amazing and the food was the best Jamaican food I’ve had in Columbia! Visit here!"
"Like many of the reviews, they were out of a good bit of items, but our waitress went over everything they were out of as soon as we sat down, so no guessing. The service was a tad slow but there was only one server and it wasn’t anything ridiculous. The food was so delicious and makes up for everything. Very flavorful and you get a lot of food for the value!!"
